Rude Rich and the High Notes sagen Wien Konzert ab—Statement vom 10.09.2010

 

Dear people, ska & reggae-lovers,

 

We regret to inform you that we won't be able to play at Otsklub, saturday september eleven. This is due to severe illness of three key members of the band. That those three have fallen ill so suddenly after one another has taken us completely by surprise, as we hope you understand. We have tried to find substitutes for them, but to our regret we didn't succeed at such short notice. ( Two members called in sick the morning we were supposed to leave, they turned out to be unable to travel. ).

We didn't feel we could play the music we play at a standard and with the quality that we try to bring to our concerts, so with great reluctance we have decided to cancel. We are very sorry that this decision affects your clubnight and all the work that has gone into booking us there. Also we apologise to the music lovers that expected to see and hear us, and that we have to let down because of circumstances beyond our control.

We want to emphasise that we are not in the habit of cancelling shows ( in the twelve years of our excistence it has happened once before ), but mostly we want to apologise once more.
